Narrow Passage Mill
Located on the Narrow Passage Creek near Calvary was the historic old Narrow Passage
Sheetz Mill for many years owned by the late Joseph Sheetz (1855-1936), father of Sheriff,
O. L. Sheetz, then subsequently by Col Benchoff. It was one of the few grain mills in
Shenandoah County that was not burned by the Federal troops during the War Between the States.
