{ The Lantz mill waterwheel iced in winter

Lantz Roller Mills' Fitz steel waterwheel, wastegate, ice, etc. as seen from southwest
The mill was still being run by water power at this time. Electricity did not come to
Lantz Mills until March of 1928 and the mill did not convert to electric motors until
later, sometime prior to 1936. Motor that replaced the wheel was made by Crooker-Wheeler
and was 20 horsepower.
